The 100 BMOL
Ken Barnes is the founder of the charity The 100 Black Men of London (The 100 BMOL), an organisation of professional-minded men who pool their experiences and resources together in an effort to empower young men and women through mentoring and education programmes.
All members give their time and efforts voluntarily and currently are experiencing great personal satisfaction in seeing how these efforts are positively impacting on the young men and women on our programmes.
Ken feel privileged to have had the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of a children in my community. I am also privileged to be amongst a growing team of committed professional Black men & women, who feel as strongly as I do and are concerned enough to act to make a difference.
The 100 Black Men of London believe that the seeds of greatness in our youth when fostered can grow into immense possibilities and self-fulfilment; they truly believe that their children are the legacy to the future.
History has shown us that even a small but committed group of people can make a difference in this world... indeed it is the only thing that ever has.
