Florence Funmi Cole - iFactor For Women Co-Author

Florence was born in North London in 1970, to Nigerian parents.  She attended La Sainte Union Convent Secondary School for girls, where she took part in school plays and was nominated best actress.  Florence was also selected out of 50 young people in London to take part in a production called “FUTURE” at the London Place Theatre in Euston.  At the age of 16, she attend the Anna Scher Theatre for a total of 10 years and produced and performed in a number of plays. 

She received an award for best play, which was awarded by Judy Dench.  Florence also formed a Rap group called the “Angels,” recorded three tracks and performed with Soul to Soul and Family Quest.

During this time, she played volleyball for 10 years as a semi professional.  Florence played for Islington three years in a row and trialed achieved Bronze, Silver, then finally Gold.  She also played for London and for England.
