"I enjoyed reading the student evaluations. You have clearly made a big impression on these students. I wanted to give you my personal thanks for the excellent job you've done. It's been clear to me that you have made a positive difference to this group of boys and their evaluation comments are a testament to your success. It must not be forgotten that the behaviour of this group of boys back in October was extremely negative and challenging. I feel that your work with them has made them more positive about their school and more responsible in their individual and collective actions." Dan Dickens, Deputy Head Sedgehill School
"I have worked at Redbridge Foyer for 6 years now and I can honestly that I have never in the past seen the residents as motivated as they were to attend a life skills course like they were when c-a-n-i delivered life skills sessions here. Residents used to constantly ask whether c-a-n-i sessions were going ahead as expected as they did not want to miss out on any of them. They also requested that their visitors could attend as they felt they could learn a lot and would enjoy the sessions. Residents were very positive about the sessions that had taken place and discussed some of the topics in great detail with staff, asking their opinions etc A number of residents felt that c-a-n-i had really made them think differently about the way they perceive themselves and others in in different situations. They talked about wanting to change their way of life, respect all other people, get jobs, help friends who were down. All in all a very positive experience for residents, their visitors and staff at Redbridge Foyer! No doubt we will see these sessions run again at Redbridge Foyer in the future and i would expect them to be just as well attended by new residents." Redbridge Foyer - Tracey Mcgurl, Foyer Manager
"The facilitators were very professional. Our students were completely engaged in the sessions." All Saints School
"I would like to say that the group of year 8 boys that you worked with found the sessions both educational and enjoyable. You were able to engage with the students and encourage them to reflect on their experiences and aspirations. the boys found you both supportive in many respects yet challenging in many others. As one of the adults present I felt that you worked with them in a professional manner and I look forward to being able to work with you again in the near future." Mary Findlow - Highgate Wood School

"Thank you very much for your presentation to our Year 10 students on Monday. You captured the attention of our students very successfully, skillfully dissipating the few pockets of disbelief/cynicism, and - in the words of one of the students I spoke with afterwards - “really motivated us”. We all learned a great deal and were given a lot to think about also." Penny Graham, Curriculum Leader - Greig City Academy
